Each month Hiredguns Fastpitch Softball picks a pitcher of the month. To qualify all a pitcher has to do is something that shows she has been working to achieve excellence in her sport.

To top off such a run she finishes with a PERFECT game!! WOW!

A Pitcher able to make adjustments is a pitcher with an advantage.
Molly is without a doubt a pitcher on the move!! Her ball has so much movement it's sick. Her biggest challenge was to learn how to control the sharpness when the pitch moves. Her spins are true and quick with great rotation.
I started Hiredguns Fastpitch in the fall of 2003; with encouragement and support from Rich Balswick I've been able to share with my students his proven style of pitching. Molly was one of my first students. At age 11, Molly showed her tenacity for the circle; she wasn’t afraid to work, and has always paid very close attention to everything said. Molly's ability to do these things has made her an extremely coachable pitcher. Over the years she’s taught herself how to listen to her body as she releases every pitch. She is able to make the correct adjustments to continually improve her pitching ability... As time passes she is learning to have superior control. When Molly is "on" it means lights out for opposing hitters and teams.
Today, Molly has an arsenal of 4 bullets (pitches) that she gracefully and methodically throws with complete and utter confidence. Molly also leads by example. She proves day in and day out that she is a team player by consistently helping other players and pitchers by sharing her knowledge of the game. She's always ready to help teach with the younger pitchers. She’s not too shabby with her bat either.
As her pitching coach, I've had the wonderful opportunity to watch her grow both into the super young lady she is and the incredible pitcher she's becoming.
Last I heard she had a 3.6 GPA.
Molly is everything Hiredguns FastPitch asks for in their pitchers. She is a role model, a leader, a great person, and now with confidence she’s becoming a proven PITCHER.

Here at Hiredguns Fastpitch Softball we coaches and pitchers strive for excellence in everything we do. We demand from each other we work smart, be aggressive and always understand that in many ways becoming a pitcher means becoming a leader. To lead they must first accept the responsibility of becoming the pitcher of their dreams.
